Our Two-Year World Trip

& how it shaped Aperitif Social

A woman with blonde hair, wearing a black top and a white jacket, is standing on a winding road surrounded by tall palm trees, with lush green foliage. She appears to be walking or dancing on the road.

Two years ago, my husband, Clay, and I left our jobs and set off to travel the world full-time. What started as a leap into the unknown turned into two years of unforgettable experiences and meaningful connections across the globe.

From surfing in the Philippines to riding camels through Morocco, travel completely reshaped the way we saw the world. And along the way, I fell even more deeply in love with content creation and storytelling.

As we documented our travels online, we partnered with more than 40 brands worldwide, from boutique hotels to mom-and-pop restaurants, creating content that captured not just places, but the feeling of being there.

While we were working on a vineyard in France, we were introduced to the concept of “aperitif.” Friends and strangers gathered around the table before dinner, sharing drinks and stories. I knew that I wanted my business to embody that moment.

That experience ultimately became the heart behind Aperitif Social: the belief that great content should invite people in, create connection, and tell a story worth remembering.

Now, our experiences live on through Aperitif Social! Explore our travels, socials, and travel guides below.
